Our Herd

A small family operation in Eastern Colorado, our cattle are born and raised on our farm, hand-fed without antibiotics, chemicals, or growth supplements and treatments. Our cattle receive the best care and enjoy a high quality of life throughout their time here, living on unfarmed, organic pasture grass that has been in our family for generations.

Our bull is a certified American Blue. Derived from the Belgium Blue, American Blues were bred to yield one of the highest carcass weights in modern beef. The unique genetic makeup of this breed allows for a shorter, thinner muscle fiber that equates to naturally tender beef any way you slice it.

The rest of our herd are a healthy mix of several breeds selected to bring a beautiful marbling and additional juiciness to the tender, lean traits of our bull.

We love them. They think we’re pretty OK.

One of our newest mamas has had a little trouble producing enough milk to keep her calf full and growing. We go the extra mile to provide additional support, and I think she approves!

To provide the freshest beef possible, we do not keep frozen, processed product on-hand. Plan to fill your freezer, and be confident in knowing that meat shortages and price hikes in the grocery stores won’t affect your family.

Demand for beef processors in our area is very high, and requires advanced scheduling. We appreciate your patience as we work to humanely raise and process delicious all-natural beef that is well worth the wait!
